National Glass & Aluminium

Our place is located at 10-3-110, right across from Patmos High School on the main road. Being in Fatehnagar, specifically the Balanagar area, means there are always kids and parents moving around outside. National Glass & Aluminium has been here for a good while. The shop is filled with glass sheets leaning against the walls and aluminum sections stacked up on the racks. We have to be really careful moving around so nothing breaks. It’s a bit of a tight squeeze sometimes when we get a large shipment in. We usually start the day by cleaning up the glass dust from the day before. It’s not a glamorous job, but it keeps us busy. People from the school or the houses nearby often stop by to ask for small repairs or to see what we have in stock. We don't have a big marketing team or anything like that. Most people just see our sign on the main road and walk in. The traffic outside can get pretty loud, especially during school hours, but we just focus on the cutting and the fitting. We try to get things done on time, even when the heat in the workshop makes it a bit tough. It’s just a regular local shop where we work with our hands and try to keep things moving along smoothly for everyone who comes through our doors looking for a bit of help.
