You can find us at Shop No. 1, Plot No. 504 in Rajiv Gandhi Nagar, which is over in the Bachupally area. Prakash Glass & Plywood has been operating from this spot for a while now. The shop is filled with the smell of cut wood and that specific scent that comes with stacks of plywood. It’s a bit of a tight squeeze sometimes because we try to keep a good amount of stock on hand for anyone who might need it. Glass is a different story altogether; you have to move carefully around here so nothing gets chipped or shattered. We spend a lot of time measuring things out and making sure the cuts are close enough to what’s needed. The floor is usually covered in some sawdust, no matter how much we try to sweep it up during the day. Bachupally has been growing so fast, and we’ve seen so many new buildings go up around Rajiv Gandhi Nagar lately. It keeps us busy, that’s for sure. Usually, it's just us handling the heavy lifting and making sure the deliveries go out on the trucks without any issues. Sometimes the rain makes things tricky because you can't get the plywood wet, so we’re always watching the sky. It’s a simple shop, nothing too special to look at from the outside, but it’s where we put in our hours. We just focus on the glass and wood and try to keep things moving along for the customers who stop by.
