If you're looking for Uttam Glass Co., we are right across from Osman Gunj on Old Top Khana Road. We're in Haran's House, which is a building most locals know. There is always a lot of glass around here, as you might expect, so we have to be careful where we step. It’s a busy area and the road outside can be a real headache with all the loading and unloading going on. We’ve been at 5-3-480 for a long time now. The shop is filled with different types of glass sheets and scraps from various jobs. It’s not a very tidy place, but it's where the work happens. We spend our days cutting glass to size and making sure everything is handled carefully so nothing breaks. It’s a lot of manual work and we usually have a layer of glass dust on our shoes by the end of the shift. We aren't big on talking ourselves up. People come to us because they need glass, and we provide it. Sometimes the delivery trucks block the road, and the neighbors complain, but that’s just part of being in this part of town. We’ve seen the area change a lot over the years, but we’re still here doing the same thing. Just a local glass shop run by people who know the trade.
