Sumit Marble

Sumit Marble is sitting on a few different plots, specifically 10, 48, and 49, right there on the LB Nagar Ring Road and Uppal Ring Road in Uppal. It is a very busy area with a ton of traffic all day long because of the ring road. We have a decent amount of space here across those plots to keep our stock. Being right on the Uppal Ring Road is helpful because the big trucks can get in and out to deliver the stone without too much trouble, even though the traffic can be a real headache during the rush hours. We deal with all different kinds of marble. It is mostly just us and the workers handling all the loading and unloading by hand or with the machines. We do not really do any marketing or advertising; most people just see our sign when they are stuck in traffic or driving to work. The yard is usually filled up with slabs. We try to keep the different types separated so it is easier to show people when they come in. It gets pretty noisy with the vehicles constantly going by. We have been in Uppal for a while and have seen how the whole neighborhood has changed. The ground is almost always covered in a layer of stone dust, which is just part of the job. Customers usually come in with their measurements and we walk around the plots to find something that fits. It is a lot of walking.
