Sri Surya Granites

We spend most of our days here at Sri Surya Granites right on the main road of Kamalapuri Colony Phase III. It gets pretty loud with the traffic coming through Srinagar Colony, but we are used to it by now. My boots are usually covered in some kind of stone dust before lunch. We have been sitting at this spot for a while, just dealing with whatever slabs come in on the trucks. Sometimes the heavy lifting makes your back ache, but that is part of the job when you deal with granite. Our yard is tucked into Dr.No.156, and people usually find us because they see the big pieces of rock leaning against each other. It isn’t a fancy office with air conditioning or anything like that. We just have a desk, some old chairs, and a lot of heavy inventory to move around. Usually, I’m the one checking the edges of the stones to make sure nothing got chipped during the unloading process. The sun hits the front of the shop pretty hard in the afternoons, so we tend to drink a lot of tea to stay going. It is a simple way to make a living, and we know most of the people who live around here by face. We don't really do much advertising because the work keeps us busy enough as it is. If you walk past the main road, you'll probably see us out there moving something.
