You can find Sri Sai Prithvi Granites over in the IDA Phase I area of Pashmylaram. Being in an industrial development area means we are surrounded by factories and workshops. It’s in the Medak district, so it’s a bit of a drive for some, but this is where the heavy industry happens. Our plot, 10 ‘F’, is usually filled with the sound of machinery. We deal with granite all day long, and it’s heavy, difficult work. There is nothing glamorous about our office or the yard. It’s a place for labor. We wake up early to beat the worst of the heat and get the stones moved. The staff here are mostly local guys who know how to handle the material without breaking it. We don't have a marketing team or anyone to write fancy speeches for us. We just talk to the people who need granite for their projects and try to get it to them on time. The dust from the cutting process gets everywhere, but you get used to it after the first week. We’ve been part of this industrial zone for a while and have seen many businesses come and go. We just stay focused on our own plot and the slabs we have to move. It’s a simple, honest way to make a living in the district.
