Sri Rama Marbles

We are set up at Plot No 21 in Nagole, right across the street from the Andhra Bank. It’s a good spot because everyone knows where the bank is. At Sri Rama Marbles, we deal with a lot of heavy slabs every single day. Marble is a bit different to work with than other stones, you have to be careful not to stain it or crack it while moving it. The yard is usually full of white and grey pieces. We spend our time helping people look through the stacks. It’s not a polished showroom; it’s a working yard with dirt on the ground and machines running. We’ve been here long enough that we don’t really need a big sign. People just know us. Sometimes the weather makes it hard to show the stones properly, especially when it’s cloudy and the colors don't pop. We just try to keep the place somewhat tidy, though with stone that is hard to do. We have a small crew and we all know each other well. It’s a simple life. We load up the trucks, talk to the customers, and keep an eye on the stock. We don't do much marketing or anything like that. We just rely on being here and having what people are looking for when they start building. It’s what we have done for a long time.
