Sri Ram Sai Granites

You can find us at 5-31/A right on National Highway No 9 in Kukatpally. Being on the highway means there is a constant roar of trucks and buses passing by our gate. It gets very dusty out here, but that is just part of being near the main road. Sri Ram Sai Granites is where we keep all the slabs we've collected. We have a lot of different pieces stacked up. Some days we spend hours just rearranging the yard so we can get to the stuff at the back. It’s a lot of heavy lifting and we use a lot of water to keep the dust down when we are moving things. We don't have a fancy front office. Most people just walk right into the yard to see what we have. We’ve been at this location for quite a while now. We've seen Kukatpally grow and change so much over the years. Some days the heat is tough, but we just keep at it. We aren't trying to be anything special, just a place that has granite when someone is building something. Most of our time is spent checking the quality of the stone that comes in. If a slab is cracked, we have to set it aside. It’s just a regular, honest day of work for all of us here on the highway. We just get on with it.
