Sri Jee Stone Rockraft

We are set up over at 9-1-164/3/152 in Laxmi Guda Kantadan. It is a bit of a distance out, but it gives us the space we need for all the stone work we do. If you come by, you will notice the dust first. Working with rock and stone is a messy business, and there is no real way around that. We have piles of different stones sitting around the yard and the sound of cutting or grinding is pretty much the soundtrack to our days. Our clothes are usually covered in a fine grey powder by noon. It is hard work and it makes your muscles ache, but there is something satisfying about seeing the finished pieces come together. The building itself is mostly a shell to keep the rain off the machines and the finished stock. We do not have much in the way of an office, just a small corner with a table and a ledger where we keep track of things. We usually have a few water jugs sitting around because it gets incredibly thirsty out here in the sun. The local roads are a bit bumpy, which makes transporting the heavy stuff a bit of a challenge sometimes. We are just a small group of people who know how to handle stone. We do not spend money on advertising or fancy signs. We just let the work sit out front where people can see it as they go by.
