We are located over in Kukatpally, specifically at 5-35-212/2 in Shaktipuram. It’s a residential-meets-commercial kind of neighborhood, so it feels a bit more relaxed than the city center. At Sri Comfortables Pvt Ltd, we spend our time thinking about furniture and how people sit or sleep. The warehouse and the office are basically in the same spot, so you can hear people moving things around while we’re on the phone. It’s not a polished showroom where you’re afraid to touch anything. We have fabrics and foam pieces lying around sometimes. It’s a hands-on kind of business. We’ve been here for a bit, and most of our neighbors know us by now. We don’t have a marketing team or anything like that. If someone needs a chair or a bed, they just come by and we show them what we have. It’s pretty simple. Sometimes the delivery truck gets stuck in the narrow street, and we all have to go out and help the driver navigate. That’s just part of the day here. We like the local feel of Shaktipuram. It’s a decent place to work. We aren't fancy, just honest people making stuff that's supposed to be comfortable. We keep it basic and don't overthink things. If the fan is squeaking, we just oil it and move on. There is always a lot of sawdust near the back door, but that just shows we are busy making things.
