Sula Designer Footware

Sula Designer Footware is based in New Agapura, which is right in the Nampally area. Our address is house number 5-7-372. We have been here for a while, making different kinds of shoes and sandals. Our workspace is usually filled with the smell of leather and glue. It is not a polished boutique; it is where the actual work happens. We have benches for cutting and machines for stitching. There are pieces of rubber and fabric scattered around most of the time. Nampally is a very busy part of the city, so there is always noise from the street coming through the windows. We are just a small group of workers who know how to put a shoe together. We don't follow big fashion trends or have fancy marketing. We just look at what people like to wear and try to make something similar but better. Sometimes a design doesn't work out and we have to start over. It is a lot of trial and error. We have been at this same house for a long time, so the local people know us. Customers often come in to ask for repairs or to see what new styles we have finished. We keep our prices fair because we are just a local operation. It is hard work on your feet all day, but we are used to it by now.
