Sree Vasudeva Marbles

We’ve been here at Plot No 3-11/2 in L B Nagar for a while now. Most folks know us because we’re right on the Ring Road, just past the HP petrol pump and across from the Big Bazar. It gets pretty busy around here with all the traffic heading toward Kamineni Hospital. Our yard is usually full of dust and heavy slabs of stone. That’s just how it is when you work with marble every day. It’s hard work, moving these heavy pieces around under the sun, but we’ve got used to it. The guys who work here have been doing this for years. They know how to handle the crane and make sure nothing cracks when we’re loading up a truck. We don't have a fancy office or anything like that. It’s just a practical space where we keep our stock. Sometimes people get lost looking for us, so we just tell them to look for the hospital and they find us soon enough. The Ring Road is always noisy, but you get used to the sound of trucks going by. We spend our mornings checking the new arrivals and our afternoons helping people pick out what they need for their floors or stairs. It's a simple business. We just show up, move the stone, and talk to whoever walks in. It’s not a glamorous job, but it’s what we do here in LB Nagar.
