We are on the second floor of the Modern Profound Tech Park, in unit 201. That is on Whitefields Road in Kondapur. It is a bit of a funny place for a stone company because the rest of the building is full of tech companies and IT workers in their branded t-shirts. They are all on their laptops while we are talking about slabs of rock and granite. Our office is a simple space. We have some samples of rockstones on the tables and a lot of logbooks for the trucks. Kondapur is growing so fast, so there are always new buildings that need materials. We spend a lot of time on the phone with the quarries. Getting the right stone and then getting it delivered on time is a lot of work. The traffic on Whitefields Road can be terrible in the evenings, so we try to get our site visits done early in the day. We are a small team and we have worked together for a long time. We don't have a big corporate mission or anything like that. We just focus on the logistics of moving stones from the quarry to the customer. Sometimes a delivery gets delayed because of a problem at the site or a truck breakdown. We just deal with it and try to keep everyone informed. It is a busy area to be in, but it keeps us close to all the new construction. We just keep our heads down and focus on the day’s tasks.
