Narayan Granites Pvt. Ltd.

Our business, Narayan Granites Pvt. Ltd., is located in Shamsheer Gunj at 18-4-563. This is an older part of the city, and the streets can be quite narrow and winding. It has a lot of character, though. We’ve been operating out of this same building for a long time. The walls are thick, which helps keep it a bit cooler when the sun is beating down outside. We mostly handle granite here. It’s heavy and hard to work with, but we’ve got the right tools for it. The space is a bit tight, so we have to be very organized with how we stack the slabs. If you put one in the wrong place, it takes forever to get it out again. Shamsheer Gunj is a lively neighborhood. There are always people walking by, and the smell of food from the nearby stalls often wafts into the shop. My father worked in stone his whole life, and he taught me everything I know about granite. We don't use any fancy computers to track things; we mostly use a big ledger book that sits on the main counter. It’s worked for us so far, so we see no reason to change it. People know where to find us. We’re usually here six days a week, starting early and finishing when the light starts to fade. It’s a busy life at 18-4-563, but we wouldn’t have it any other way.
