Star Footwear

Star Footwear is located on RP Road in Secunderabad, right near the big Bata showroom. It is a very crowded area with people constantly walking past the shop all day long. We have been here for a good number of years selling all sorts of shoes, sandals, and slippers. Our shop is quite small, so we have to use every inch of space we have. We have shoe boxes piled up high against the walls. It can be a bit of a squeeze when more than two or three customers are inside at the same time. We sell stuff for men, women, and children, mostly focusing on things that people can wear every day. We aren't a high-end fashion outlet. We just provide practical footwear at prices that regular people can afford. The noise from the traffic on RP Road is something you just learn to ignore after a while. I spend most of my day showing different pairs to customers and helping them find the right fit for their feet. My brother helps out when things get particularly busy, especially in the evenings when everyone is out shopping. We don't have a website or do any online selling. We just open the shutters in the morning and wait for people to come in. It is a lot of standing around and moving boxes, but we are used to it by now. Secunderabad is a lively place to have a shop.
