Madhura Nagar X Roads is a landmark most people in Ameerpet know well. Our shop is at 30-6-37, right in the thick of things. If you’ve ever been to this part of Hyderabad, you know how crowded and lively it gets. There’s always someone shouting, a horn honking, or the smell of street food nearby. We deal with marble and granite in a space that feels a bit tight sometimes because of how many slabs we try to keep on hand. We spend our time showing people the different grains and colors in the stone. It’s a lot of walking back and forth in the heat. We aren't trying to be the fanciest place in Ameerpet; we just want to get the work done. The shop has been here through a lot of changes in the neighborhood. We see the same faces passing by every day on their way to the X Roads. Sometimes we just stand outside for a minute to catch a breeze, though there isn't much of one in the middle of all these buildings. It’s a gritty job, and our clothes are usually covered in some kind of stone powder. We don't have a polished story to tell. It’s just a small business in a busy city, and we’re just part of the daily grind like everyone else around us. Sometimes we run out of space, but we always find a way to fit one more slab for someone who needs it.
