Sahithi Granites

You wouldn't think a place dealing with heavy stones would be in Banjara Hills, but Sahithi Granites is right there in the Gi Manikayamma Chakravarthi Towers. We are over in Panchavati Society on Road No. 3. It’s a nice enough area, but our daily reality is mostly about heavy slabs and the dust that comes with them. We have samples of granite all over the place, different colors and textures just leaning against the walls. It’s a bit of a workout moving them around when someone wants to see a specific piece. The office is usually humming with the sound of phones and the air conditioner trying to keep up with the Hyderabad heat. We spend a lot of time talking to builders or people who are just trying to fix up their kitchens. It isn't always smooth sailing; sometimes a delivery is late or a slab has a crack we didn't see at first. We just handle it as it comes. The society is quiet mostly, which is a nice change from the noise of the main roads. We’ve been at this spot for a while, and the security guards at the tower know us by name now. It’s a lot of physical work and keeping track of inventory lists that never seem to end. We just try to get the right stone to the right place.
