Raj Granites & Marbles

You can find Raj Granites & Marbles over in Kamalapuri Colony, near Sri Nagar Colony. Our plot number is 8-3-833/159/A, which sounds complicated but once you get here, it’s easy to see all the stone slabs. We have been working out of this spot for a good while. The yard is usually full of granite and marble leaning against the frames. It’s a lot of heavy lifting and moving things around with the crane. On rainy days, the ground gets a bit muddy, so we have to be careful where we walk. We aren't some big corporation with a marketing department. It’s just a local business where we know most of the guys who come to pick up materials. We spend our mornings checking the quality of the slabs that arrived overnight. Some pieces have really nice veins in them, while others are more plain. We don't try to talk anyone into buying something they don't need. People usually come in with their measurements already written on a scrap of paper. We just show them what we have in stock and let them decide. The sun can get quite strong out in the open yard, so we take breaks under the small tin roof we set up. It’s a practical life, working with stone. We’ve grown used to the weight of it and the way the site looks when it’s full of new stock. We just keep at it and handle the orders as they come.
