Payal Footwear is tucked away on Hasmatpet Road, right in the Bowenpally area. We've been in this shop for quite some time. If you know Hyderabad, you know this part of town gets quite crowded. Our address is 9-1-50/4, and it's a modest little place. We sell shoes, sandals, and all sorts of things for your feet. Nothing too complicated about it. We just think people need good shoes that don't fall apart after a week. The shelves are usually packed, and sometimes it feels a bit cramped when a few customers come in at once. We don't have fancy displays or those bright spotlights you see in malls. It’s just us and the shoes. We see all kinds of people coming through. Parents looking for school shoes for their kids, or someone needing a pair of sturdy chappals for daily wear. We try to remember what people like, but our memory isn't perfect. Sometimes we run out of a certain size and have to wait for the next delivery. That's just how the shop runs. It’s a family-run kind of thing, so you might see different faces depending on the day. We like talking to the neighbors and seeing familiar faces. Life on Hasmatpet Road is fast, but we're happy to have our little corner here. It’s just honest work, making sure people have something decent to walk in.
