Param Pujya Granites

We've been at Plot No. 52 for a while now, right across from the H.P. gas godown here on the Ring Road. It’s a busy spot in L.B. Nagar, and you can usually hear the trucks moving in and out all day long. We mostly just focus on getting the slabs moved and making sure they are ready when people come to pick them up. Param Pujya Granites isn't a fancy place with a glass showroom or anything like that. It’s a work site. Most of the time, we’re out in the yard checking the pieces or talking to drivers who are delivering new stock. The dust is just part of the job when you deal with stones. We started this because we knew the area and saw how much building was going on around here. It gets hot in the afternoons, but we keep things moving. We don't spend much time on computers or making things look pretty on paper. We just handle the granite and try to stay organized. If someone stops by, they usually find us near the back where the heavier blocks are kept. It’s straightforward work. We’ve seen the Ring Road change a lot over the years, but our little corner remains pretty much the same, just piles of stone and the smell of the gas godown across the street. We’re just local people doing this everyday.
