Padam Prabhu Marble House

You can find us at Plot No- 87 in Mamatanagar Nagole, which is just off the Uppal Ring Road near L.B. Nagar. It’s a busy part of town, so there is always a lot of traffic passing by our gate at all hours. We keep a variety of marbles stacked up in the yard for people to see. Most days are spent moving these heavy pieces around with the help of a few tools and a lot of manual effort from the team. It’s physical work that leaves you tired by the end of the day. We get a lot of local residents coming in because they are building houses in the surrounding neighborhoods like Uppal. We don't have a fancy website or a big marketing plan. People usually just see our sign while driving on the ring road and pull in to see what we have. The yard gets quite dusty from the road, and when it rains, it can get a bit muddy underfoot, but we try to keep the paths clear for visitors. We have a small area near the entrance where we sit and figure out the measurements and prices with the customers. It’s a very direct way of doing business without any middleman. Sometimes we stay late to finish a delivery or organize a new load of stone that just arrived from the quarries. It’s just how things go at Plot 87, and we are used to the pace by now.
