Meena Foot Wear

We are Meena Foot Wear, situated at 22-8-68/69/1. Our shop is right beside the main shoe market in Chatta Bazar. It’s a very traditional part of town, and there are shoes everywhere you look around here. We fit right in. The shop is usually full of boxes from the floor to the ceiling. We know where everything is, even if it looks a bit cluttered to someone else. Chatta Bazar is always moving, with people carrying loads and customers haggling over prices. We just stay in our corner and do our work. We don’t have a big staff, just us family members mostly. We take turns sitting at the front. The building is old and has a lot of character, though the stairs can be a bit steep. We spend a lot of time talking to the other vendors in the market. It’s a tight-knit place. We don't really do much in the way of marketing. People know where we are if they need us. We offer simple footwear for daily use. Nothing too extravagant or overpriced. Some days the heat is a bit much, but we have a fan that keeps the air moving. We’ve been part of this market for years, and we’ve seen shops come and go while we stayed put. It’s a steady life and we’re happy with how things are. We just keep going every day.
