Mangalam Marbles & Granites

If you are driving through Attapur, you can’t really miss us. Mangalam Marbles & Granites is right there opposite those big pillars—153, 155, 156, and 190. We are based at House No. 4-8-149/2/1. It's a handy way to tell people where we are since those pillars are hard to miss. We’ve got piles of marble and granite stacked up everywhere. It’s a lot of heavy lifting. My back feels it at the end of every day, that’s for sure. We don’t really do the whole corporate thing. We’re just a bunch of guys who know how to handle stone. People stop by all the time because they’re building something nearby or fixing a kitchen. The area stays pretty loud with all the traffic under the flyover. We spend most of our time out in the yard, checking the edges of the slabs and making sure nothing is cracked. It gets dusty, and the white marble shows every bit of dirt, so we’re always cleaning something. We try to keep things moving, but sometimes things get backed up. We aren't perfect, but we've been doing this long enough to know what we're doing. There’s no big mission statement hanging on the wall. We just show up, sell some stone, and go home. It’s a local business, and we like it that way. Most of our customers are just neighbors who live around Attapur. We just do our work.
