We are on the ground floor, which makes it a lot easier for moving our stone products around. Malakpet is a bustling neighborhood, and there’s always something happening outside our door. Our daily routine involves checking the granite slabs for any chips and making sure the stone is cut to the right sizes. It’s a dusty job, and by the end of the day, everything in the shop has a thin coating on it. We don't mind it much anymore. We spend a lot of time talking to contractors and homeowners who are looking for something specific for their building projects. Stone is a natural product, so every piece is a bit different, and we spend time explaining that to anyone who asks. The office part of Sidhartha Residency is where we keep our ledgers and handle the payments. It’s a simple setup, nothing too fancy, just enough room for a desk and a couple of chairs. Sometimes the traffic in Malakpet makes it hard for the delivery trucks to get in, so we have to plan our timings carefully. It’s a hard-working environment and we just take pride in getting the stone where it needs to go. We’ve been here a good while and we just keep doing what we know best.
