J. P. Granex

J. P. Granex is located at No. 239 on the 1st Floor of Padmavathi Plaza in K. P. H. B. Kukatpally. Unlike some of the other stone businesses that have big open yards, we are up here in a plaza. It makes things a bit different because we are in the middle of all the shopping and residential blocks of KPHB. Being on the first floor means there is a lot of foot traffic outside, and the noise from the street is always there. Our space is more of an office where we handle the details and the orders. It’s a bit of a climb up the stairs, but it’s a good spot to be. We have samples scattered around the room so people can get an idea of the colors and textures of the granite. It gets quite crowded in here sometimes when we have a few people visiting at once. K P H B is a very lively area, so there is never a dull moment. We spend most of our time on the computer or the phone, coordinating things. It’s not as dusty as a cutting yard, but we still deal with the same materials. We’ve been at Padmavathi Plaza for a while now, and the neighbors are all friendly. We don't have a lot of extra space for things that don't matter, so we keep the office pretty functional and straightforward. It’s just us doing our bit in the middle of Kukatpally.
