H.M. Granites

H.M. Granites is our small operation located at Plot No. 17-9-173/E/1 in Kurmaguda, over in the Saidabad area. We’ve been at this spot for several years now, and the neighborhood knows us pretty well. We focus on granite slabs, mostly for domestic use like kitchen counters or stairs. Our yard is usually quite full, so it takes a bit of maneuvering to get the right pieces out for a customer to see. It’s hard work, especially in the summer heat, but we’ve got a good routine down. We aren't a big company with a lot of branches; it’s just this one location where we do everything. When someone comes in, they usually talk directly to one of us who has been working with the stone all day. We can tell you which slabs are easier to cut and which ones are more brittle. Saidabad is a busy place, and we try to contribute by providing good material to the local builders. We don't use any slick brochures or sales pitches. We just show you the stone as it is, with all its natural marks and colors. Sometimes the edges are a bit rough until we get them polished up, but that's just part of the process. We like the fact that we're a local fixture in Kurmaguda. It's not always easy work, but it’s steady and it keeps us connected to the community.
