Hitech Marbles & Granites

You can find our shop, number 65, right across from the SBI Bank on the Kamineni Hospital Road in L.B. Nagar. It’s a very busy stretch of road, especially with the hospital nearby and all the traffic coming through RTC Colony. We have our marble and granite slabs displayed as best as we can in the space we have. It’s not a fancy showroom with bright lights, but we keep the pieces clean so people can see the natural veins in the stone. We spend most of our day talking to folks who are building or fixing up their houses. They come in with their measurements, and we help them figure out how many slabs they might need. It’s a lot of standing around and moving heavy samples, which can be tough on the feet. We have a small crew that helps with the cutting and loading, and we try to get things done as quickly as we can despite the heat. The shop gets a lot of dust from the road, so we are constantly wiping things down. Across the street, the bank always has a queue, and we watch the city go by while we work. We don't do much in the way of advertising; most people just see our sign while they are stuck in traffic or heading to the hospital. We just focus on keeping the stock full and helping the people who walk through the door.
