Sterling Stonex is based in Habsiguda, specifically in Kakatiyanagar. We are located at 2-98/3, in 10-b, Block-b. It’s a bit of a residential area that has turned more commercial over the years. Our place is pretty quiet compared to the main roads in Hyderabad. We have a yard where we keep some of the larger stone pieces, and the sun can really beat down on them in the afternoon. Inside the office, it’s just the basic stuff you’d expect—desks, a few computers, and a lot of stone samples acting as paperweights. We spend our mornings checking the logs and seeing what needs to be moved out. The guys who handle the stones are usually covered in dust by lunchtime. We don’t have any polished sales pitches or a fancy lobby. If you walk in, you’ll probably see someone drinking tea or arguing over a delivery note. It’s an honest way to spend the day. Sometimes the rain makes the yard a muddy mess and we have to wait for things to dry out before we can move the heavy inventory. We know the neighbors pretty well, and we usually stop to chat when we see them on the street. It’s a small operation, and we like it that way because we can keep an eye on everything ourselves without too much fuss or corporate nonsense getting in the way.
