You can find Granite Mart Ltd. over in Kukatpally, specifically at 62-9-85 in Bhagya Nagar. It’s a busy part of town, so there is always noise from the street. We’ve been at this location for a good bit now. Most days are spent moving heavy slabs of granite from one side of the lot to the other. It’s a lot of physical labor. We have people coming in looking for stuff for their kitchens or floors. We just show them what we have on the racks. The lighting in the warehouse isn't the best, so we often tell folks to look at the stone in the natural light outside to see the real colors. We don't use fancy brochures or anything. It's just us and the stone. Sometimes we have a lot of one color and then it’s gone the next week. The traffic on the road out front can be a bit of a headache when we’re trying to back a truck in. You have to be patient around here. We work until the sun goes down usually. It gets pretty loud when the saws are running, so we wear ear protection and mostly use hand signals. It’s a straightforward life. We keep the floor swept as much as you can sweep a place full of stone dust. It’s just how we do things here. If you need something, you just come by and we talk.
