GOODWILL MARBLE AND GRANITE PRIVATE LIMITED

We are over at number 38 in the Adarsh Housing Society. Vidya Nagar is a quiet enough place most of the time. We’ve been dealing in marble and granite for a long while now. It’s a family-run kind of thing, mostly. We handle the heavy slabs that people want for their counters and floors. It’s tough work because granite is heavy and if you drop it, well, that's that. We spend most of our mornings checking the new arrivals and making sure nothing got cracked during transport. Our space isn't huge, but we make it work for the stock we keep. People from the neighborhood often stop by just to ask questions about what kind of stone lasts longest or what looks good. We aren't designers, but we've seen enough houses to know what works. Sometimes the shipments are late and we have to call everyone to explain, which is the part of the job I like least. But usually, things go okay. We just focus on getting the right pieces to the right people. It’s honest work. The dust gets into everything, so we’re always cleaning the office floors. It’s just how it is when you work with stone all day. We enjoy the process even when it gets a bit chaotic with the deliveries arriving at the same time.
