Gilda Marbles

Gilda Marbles is located right across from the Telugu Academy in Himayat Nagar. It’s a central spot, and we get a lot of people walking by while they are out doing their errands. We have a small display area where we keep some of our better marble pieces. Most of our day is spent talking to contractors or homeowners who are trying to figure out what they want for their kitchens or bathrooms. We don’t have a big marketing budget or anything like that. We just rely on the fact that we’ve been here for a long time and people know where to find us. The shop can get a bit cluttered with samples and offcuts, but we know where everything is. We handle all the heavy lifting ourselves. It's not a clean job, you usually go home with dust on your clothes and shoes. We don't mind it much. Himayat Nagar is a good place to be, even if the parking is a bit of a nightmare sometimes. We just take things one order at a time. We aren't interested in becoming a huge chain or anything. We just want to provide the stone people need for their homes. It’s steady work, and we’re happy to be doing it here. We hope to stay on this corner for many more years to come.
