Being in a Growth Centre means we are surrounded by other industrial businesses, so there is always the sound of machinery and trucks in the air. It’s a very busy environment. We have a lot of space in our plot to store the granite we get. We spend our days out in the yard, often wearing hats to keep the sun off while we move the slabs around. It’s a lot of physical labor, and by the end of the day, we are usually pretty tired. We don't have a polished office or a big sign with lights. We just have our stones and our equipment. People from all over Prakasam District come by when they are building something new. We just walk them through the rows of granite and show them the different patterns. We don’t have a script or a sales pitch. We just talk like regular people and explain what each stone is like. Some days the wind blows the dust everywhere and it’s a bit of a mess, but we just keep working through it. That is just how life is in the industrial area. We like the work because it is steady and we get to see what people are building in the area. It's just a straightforward operation.
