Dhartidhan Marble & Granite

Dhartidhan is located right at the Nagole X Road in L B Nagar. We occupy Plot No 20 A and B. Being at a major crossroads means it is never quiet. There is always dust in the air and the sound of horns, but we have gotten used to it. Our yard is where the actual work happens. We have slabs of granite leaning against each other in long rows. You have to be careful walking between them. We spend our mornings checking the inventory and making sure nothing got chipped during the night. It is a practical place. We have a small shed where we keep the records and a couple of chairs for visitors. People from the neighborhood stop in quite a bit just to see what new colors we got in. We don’t have a big marketing team or anything. It is mostly just word of mouth from one neighbor to another. When the sun is high, the stone gets really hot to the touch, so we try to do the heavy moving early on. We are just regular people working with our hands and dealing with the daily grind of the stone trade. It is a lot of grit and hard work, but we like seeing a truck head out with a full load for a new house down the street.
