We have been operating out of Hig-38 in Kukatpally for a while now. It is a busy spot in Balajinagar and there is always something happening outside. If you walk past the APHB area, you will likely see our sign. The office isn't anything fancy, just a practical space where we handle the day-to-day work for Dalmia Cement Bharat Limited. Most mornings start with a lot of phone calls from people asking about load timings or where their trucks are. The traffic in Hyderabad can be a real headache, especially around here, so we spend a lot of time looking at clocks and maps. The chairs in the waiting area have seen better days but they do the job. We don’t have a big corporate team here, just a few of us who know the local builders and try to get things moved on time. Sometimes the internet acts up when it rains, and we just have to wait it out while drinking some tea from the shop down the road. It gets quite hot in the afternoons, so the AC usually stays on full blast. We keep a lot of ledger books and files stacked up because the digital stuff doesn't always feel as real as paper. People stop by to chat about construction projects or just to complain about the heat. We just keep our heads down and try to make sure the cement gets where it needs to go.
