Jp Cement

We are over here in Kadapa at Jp Cement. It is basically inside the Dalmia Cement Bharat Ltd area in Andhrapradesh. Most days are just spent looking at trucks coming in and out or checking the bags. It gets pretty hot here so we try to get most things done early in the morning before the sun really hits. There is always some dust around because of the cement but that is just part of the job. People know where we are. We have been in this spot for a while now. It’s not a fancy office or anything like that. Just a practical place where we handle our daily work. Sometimes the paperwork gets a bit much but we manage. Most of the guys here are local so we talk in Telugu mostly. If you come by you will see us near the main gate area. We keep things simple. No need for big signs or anything. We just do what needs to be done with the cement orders. It is a steady rhythm every day. We know the drivers and the loaders pretty well. Some days are busier than others especially when a big shipment is due. We just take it as it comes. It's a living and it keeps us busy in this part of Andhrapradesh. We don't really have a big team but everyone knows their task. That is how we keep the wheels turning here at Jp Cement.
