Our place is located in Mangalapalem, which is part of the Kothavalasa area in Vizianagaram. If you are looking for us, you might ask for Francis, the son of P Ramu, as he is well known around here. We are under the Acc Concrete name, linked with Holcim, but the day-to-day work is very much a local effort. The yard stays busy with the mixers coming and going through the dusty roads of Andhra Pradesh. It is a practical environment. We don’t have a lot of bells and whistles in the office, just the essentials to keep the concrete moving to the different project sites. The sun can be quite strong here, so we usually start early to get a head start on the day’s tasks.
