Bharathi

This is Bharathi, located over in Sattenapalli in the Guntur district. We are right on Park Road, which is a pretty easy place to find if you know where the water tank is. We are directly opposite that water tank. My name is Netaji Chowdary and I work here with Y. Venkateswara Rao. It is a local place in Andhra Pradesh and things move at their own pace here. The weather in Guntur is usually very hot, so we spend a lot of time trying to stay cool inside. We don't have a big corporate setup. It is just a small place where we handle our daily business. People from the mandal come by and we talk to them about what they need. We see a lot of familiar faces every week. The park road gets a bit of traffic during the day but it quietens down in the evening. We have been here for a good while and the neighbors know us well. We don't do a lot of advertising or anything like that. People just know where we are because of the water tank landmark. We just keep the doors open and do our work as it comes. It is a simple way to earn a living. We try to be helpful to anyone who walks in. When the work is done, we just lock up and head home. It is a regular life in a regular town and we are happy with that.
