Emapthy Granites is located at Aziz Villa, right behind the big Reliance Digital on Road Number 12 in Banjara Hills. The address is 8-2-684/1/a if you are trying to find us. It’s a busy part of Hyderabad, so traffic is always a bit of a mess outside the gate. We’ve got a small crew here, mostly just guys who know how to handle stone and keep the paperwork from getting too lost. The office isn't anything special to look at, just a place to sit down and figure out the orders for the week. Dealing with granite means everything gets covered in a thin layer of grey grit no matter how much we try to sweep it out. We usually have a radio playing in the corner to keep things from getting too quiet. Most of our day is spent checking the slabs for cracks or talking to drivers who are trying to navigate their big lorries through these narrow back streets. It’s a lot of physical labor, and by the end of the day, everyone is pretty worn out. We don’t really do much in the way of fancy displays. If you come by, you’ll just see us working. Sometimes we have to move the same pile of stones three times just to find the one piece someone is looking for. It’s just how the business goes in a place like this.
