J P M Granites

If you head over to Pno. 29 in Gandhingr, Idplclny, you’ll see J P M Granites. We are in Hyd-37, which is a specific part of the city that has its own feel. Being in IDPL Colony means we are part of a community that has been here for a long time. Our plot, number 29, is where we keep all the granite. It is a lot of stone, and every piece has its own weight and look. We spend our days mostly outdoors or in the open shed, dealing with the slabs. The weather in Hyderabad can be tough on you when you’re working with stone all day. Sometimes the rain makes the yard a bit muddy, which makes moving the heavy granite slabs a real chore. We have a few guys who have been with us for years, and we all just know the routine by now. We don’t bother with big signs or loud music. It’s just the sound of the granite being moved and the occasional truck backing in. People find us because they live nearby or they’ve been told we are at this specific plot in Gandhingr. We aren’t really into the whole corporate way of doing things. We just want to do the work and go home to our families at the end of the day. It’s a simple life, even if the work itself is heavy and leaves your hands feeling rough and tired.
