Surah Stones Gallery

Surah Stones Gallery is at Plot No: 10 in Durga Nagar Colony, over in the Ameerpet area. If you’ve been to Ameerpet, you know how busy and packed it stays. Our little corner in Durga Nagar is a bit quieter, which is nice for when people want to actually look at the stones. We call it a gallery, but it’s really just a place where we display various types of stone slabs. We don't have anything high-end or overly fancy here. It’s just some racks and some samples so people can feel the texture and see the colors in the light. We spend most of our time answering questions about how different stones wear over time or how much a certain piece might weigh. We aren't sales experts; we just know a lot about stone because we’ve been around it so long. The office part is just a desk and a couple of chairs that have seen better days. We don't use a lot of technology, mostly just notebooks and pencils to sketch out ideas or write down prices. It’s a bit old-fashioned, but it works for us. We get a mix of people coming through, from homeowners to contractors who are in a hurry. We just try to help them find something that fits their budget and move on to the next task. It’s a steady, simple way to spend the day in a busy part of town.
