Our office is located at No. 502 in Con Course House. It’s a typical office setup where we spend most of our time talking to suppliers and checking on tile shipments. Ceramics can be tricky because things break if you aren't careful, so we spend a lot of time worrying about the transport side of things. We have samples scattered around the place so people can see the different finishes and colors. It’s not a huge space, but it works for what we need. Sometimes the samples get a bit disorganized when we’re busy, but we straighten them up eventually. We get all sorts of visitors, some who know exactly what they want and others who just want to look at everything we have. We don't do much fancy advertising; people mostly find us through word of mouth or because they’re working on a house nearby. The building itself is usually quite busy with other businesses, so there’s always a bit of a buzz in the hallways. We drink a lot of tea while going through invoices and calling up the warehouses. It’s a steady pace of work. We try to stay on top of the latest styles, but at the end of the day, it’s just about getting good tiles into people’s homes. We like the routine of it and the folks we get to meet through the business. It keeps us occupied and the days go by pretty fast.
