We are Anil Shoe Ltd., and you can find us at 1-27/1 in Alkapuri Nagole. It’s a straightforward place where we handle everything related to footwear. The building isn't new, but it serves its purpose well. Every morning we get started by checking what came in and what needs to go out to the shops. There’s always a faint smell of leather and glue in the air, which we don't even notice anymore. It’s not a polished retail store with mirrors everywhere. It’s more of a place where the real work happens behind the scenes. We have a small crew and we all pitch in with whatever needs doing, from moving boxes to writing out invoices by hand. Nagole is a good area for us because it’s easy for our suppliers to reach. We don’t have a big marketing department or anyone to write fancy speeches for us. We just focus on making sure the shoes are sturdy and the orders are correct. Sometimes things get backed up, especially when the weather is bad, but we do our best to catch up. It’s a local business through and through. We’ve been here for a long time and we’ve seen the neighborhood change, but our routine stays pretty much the same. It’s just honest, hard work every day at the shop, keeping the machines running and the floor clean when we have a spare minute to breathe.
