We run a transport company and our address details are usually found in the attachments we send out. We’ve been in the moving business for quite some time now. It’s all about trucks, routes, and making sure things get where they need to go. We handle a lot of different types of cargo. Some days it’s easy, other days there are delays with the weather or the roads. We don’t have a fancy head office with glass windows. It’s mostly just us at the desks and the drivers out on the road. We spend a lot of time on the phone checking where the vehicles are. It can be a bit stressful when a shipment is running late, but that’s the job. We don’t use any big words to describe what we do. We just move things from one place to another. It’s practical work that requires a lot of patience. Sometimes the paperwork gets a bit messy, but we sort it out eventually. We focus on the daily schedule and making sure the lorries are in good shape. It’s a tough industry but it keeps us on our toes. We’re just a group of people making sure the logistics side of things keeps moving forward for everyone involved in the process each day.
