A. K. Marbles & Granites is based at Plot No. 63 in Mamta Nagar. We are right on the X Road, just opposite the RCC Bus Stand. Having the bus stand right across from us means there are always people around and a lot of movement. It’s a lively spot to be in. Our plot isn't huge, but we’ve managed to organize it so we can fit everything we need. We spend our days dealing with various types of marble and granite. It’s heavy work, and our clothes usually show it by the end of the day. We’ve been in Mamta Nagar for some time now. The local people know where we are. We don't really do any big advertising or anything like that. People just see the sign when they’re at the bus stand or passing through X Road. It’s a straightforward operation here. We open up early and stay until the work is finished. There’s no fancy office with air conditioning; we’re mostly out in the open or under the shed. We like the connection to the local neighborhood. It feels grounded. At A. K. Marbles & Granites, we just focus on the task at hand. We don't have any complicated mission statements or corporate goals. We just want to make sure the work is done and the yard is ready for the next day. It’s a simple life and a simple business, right here in the heart of Mamta Nagar.
