You can find us at Plot No. 15 in R K Nagar, which is part of the R H B Colony in P.M. Palem. This is our Visakhapatnam branch. It has a bit of a residential feel around here, which is actually quite nice for a change. We share the space and keep things very simple. The address is linked with K L Narayana’s place. It is not your typical high-rise corporate office. We like the local vibe of the 530041 area. The sea is not too far away, so we get a bit of that salty air when the wind blows right. Our work revolves around the cement business, mostly handling the local side of the operations. There is always a stack of papers that needs filing at the end of the day. We seem to go through a lot of pens. The chairs are not the most ergonomic things in the world, but they do the job. We have a small porch where we sometimes stand to talk and have a break. Most of our day is spent on the phone or tracking where the deliveries are. It gets very humid here, so the ceiling fan is always running on high. We do not have a big marketing department or anyone to write fancy letters for us. We just tell people where we are and what we do. It is a practical way to run things. We know the local shopkeepers and the mailman.
