Shri Auto

Shri Auto is right near the Naya Mandir on Salkia School Road. If you know the Bamongachi area, you’ve probably passed by us. We’re at number 96. It’s a busy little stretch of road. We deal with cars and bikes mostly. Repairs, parts, whatever people need to keep their vehicles running. The shop isn't very big, but we pack a lot into it. There’s usually a couple of bikes parked out front waiting for parts. It gets pretty loud with the school traffic nearby, but we don’t mind it. We started this place because we like fixing things. It’s honest work. Most of our customers are locals from the neighborhood who’ve been coming to us for years. We don't have any fancy waiting rooms or anything like that. Just a bench and maybe a glass of water if it’s hot out. We use whatever tools we have to get the job done right. Sometimes we stay late if a customer really needs their car back for work the next day. It’s just how it is in a place like this. We know the shop across the street and the guy who sells tea down the corner. It feels like home. Nothing flashy, just a regular auto shop trying to help people get where they’re going. It's a bit greasy and loud, but we wouldn't have it any other way.
