Shivam Enterprise

Our place is down on Girish Ghosh Road in Ghusuri, at number 147/A/2/19. It’s an old industrial area and the buildings have a lot of character, though they could use some paint. Shivam Enterprise has been operating from this location for quite a few years now. We deal in various industrial supplies and small parts that factories around here need. The shop is more of a warehouse with high shelves reaching up to the ceiling. It’s a bit dark inside, but we have some good lights so we can find what we’re looking for. My wife helps me with the accounts on the weekends when she isn't busy. During the week, it’s just me and a helper. We get a lot of walk-in customers from the local workshops. They usually need something specific like a certain type of bolt or a gasket. We don't have a fancy showroom or a catalog. We just know our stock and where everything is kept. The traffic on Girish Ghosh Road is always a mess, so we usually tell people to come early if they want to avoid the worst of it. We spend our afternoons drinking tea and chatting with the other shop owners on the block. It’s a friendly neighborhood despite all the grime and noise. We aren't trying to expand into a giant company. We just like having a steady business and seeing familiar faces every day. We usually head home once the street finally starts to quiet down.
