Beacon Power & Transmission

You can find Beacon Power & Transmission over at 16, Alamohan Das Road in the Kashipur area of Dasnagar. We have been operating out of this spot for quite a while now. The building is older, but it serves us well for storing power and transmission components. Dasnagar is an area where a lot of technical work happens, so we fit right in. Our day usually starts early, before the traffic on Alamohan Das Road gets too heavy. We spend a lot of time looking through catalogs and checking the stock on the shelves. It’s a lot of heavy parts, so there is a fair bit of lugging things around. The office part is just a small corner with a couple of desks and a lot of old ledgers. We prefer it that way because it’s easier to manage. People come to us because they know we have been here forever and we know where every nut and bolt is kept. Sometimes the power goes out in the afternoon, but we just open the doors for light and keep going. We aren't much for fancy technology; a lot of our notes are still written by hand on scraps of paper. It’s a bit old-fashioned, maybe, but it works for us. We just try to be helpful to whoever walks in and make sure we don't lose track of the inventory. It’s steady work in a quiet part of town.
