We are based out of Belur, specifically at 2Kc on KC Road. Jmd Plastic Pvt. Ltd. has been here for a while now. The building is a simple one, mostly filled with the sound of our molding machines. We make a variety of plastic items, and the whole place usually smells like raw polymer. It’s not a bad smell once you’re used to it. We have a small crew of workers who handle the machines and the packing. KC Road is a bit of a busy stretch in the district, so there’s always movement outside. We don’t have a fancy showroom or a reception desk. People who want to buy from us usually just walk up to the main gate and ask for the manager. We keep a lot of our stock in the back, piled up in large bags. Sometimes the machines act up and we have to spend the whole day fixing them, which is just part of the job. We aren't into big corporate talk or anything like that. We just focus on making sure the plastic comes out the right shape and color. It’s a basic business. We try to keep our costs low and our work steady. Most of our workers live nearby in Belur, so we’re a local bunch. We see the same delivery drivers every week. It’s a routine that works for us. We just keep our heads down and make sure the production line stays moving as much as possible.
