Newtec Enterprise

Being located at 46/2/1 Bisweswar Banerjee Lane in Kadamtala has its challenges, mostly with the narrow streets. If a big truck comes down the lane, everything else has to stop. But we like it here. It is a real neighborhood where everyone knows each other’s business. Newtec Enterprise started out small and we have stayed that way on purpose. Our office is on the ground floor, so we see everyone walking past the window. Sometimes we get distracted by the local stray dogs or the vegetable seller shouting his prices. The inside of our place is a bit cluttered. There are samples on the shelves and boxes stacked against the walls. We try to keep it tidy, but when we get busy, the organization is the first thing to go. It’s just how it is when you’re trying to move things fast. We use old wooden desks that have been here since the start. They are sturdy and do the job. We don’t have fancy software or high-tech gadgets for everything. A lot of our planning still happens on a big white board with markers that are half-dry. It’s a simple setup for simple work. We don't see the point in making things harder than they need to be. Most of us live nearby, so the commute is just a short walk or a bike ride every morning.
